Er vi lei av oppsummeringer og tilbakeblikk? Kanskje litt?
Tusen takk for følget i 2014!

In other words: Are we tired of resumés and flashbacks? I hope it’s okay that I look over my shoulder a little. In 2014 I visited four new countries, and I met Tony Hawk and Neil Gaiman, and I sold my first proper pieces to a paper magazine, and an old dream (which I might tell you more about) came true. Those are things I’ll remember, for sure!
Here is a little look at what happened each month, as well as some of my favourite posts from the past year. January was all about my new camera. I bought my DSLR with my Christmas money, and it has become an invaluable companion. In February I wrote about body image and showed you little pieces of our home. In March I visited Malaysia, and that gave me courage to publish a tune and a scene, and I wrote a wee bit about feminism (the main article is in Norwegian, I’m afraid). April brought the spring, and I talked about tigers and shared fifteen smiles. May was lovely, not only because this happened, but also because our Constitution Day celebration was brilliant and I enjoyed lots of geeky goodies. June was full on summer! I wrote about my feelings one year after moving home from Paris, and we shared things we don’t like. In July I went to Scotland, to celebrate five years with my boyfriend, and that was also why I arranged a little scavenger hunt. In August I shared another scene and tune, but mainly I was outside enjoying the sun with my whole being. September brought me to Brussels, and I was euphoric one nerdy night, and I shared my favourite weekend activities. October was the first proper month of autumn, and we were honest about our quirks (so fun!) and exchanged audio tips for the home office. In November I lost my grandfather, so many days felt long and dark, but luckily I could still find things that made me smile. Also I answered ten questions, and we talked about crying. I’m a crier, and there is no shame in that! In December I visited Kraków (and there aren’t many post in this category yet, but they’re on the way!). I shared my favourite things about Advent and, when Christmas came around, it was everything I had hoped for. I have also shared some recipes and a number of outfits, as baked goods and dresses are among the things I love most – and parties, of course!
The past year has been eventful and varied. Among big happenings and little joys were some sorrows, some harrowing experiences and some new wisdom. Life is full of surprises, and all we can do is try to keep up! In 2015 I’d like to open up even more. I have blogged pretty much every other day throughout 2014, and I really enjoy it. I like showing you what my life is like, I like sharing what makes me happy and I like discussing important issues. The latter is something Id’ like to do more of! I wish to be braver, because I really value our exchange. Your visits and comments on this blog are important to me – every single one. I want you to know that. Thank you so much for the company this past year!
I really believe in 2015. I intend to fill it with all the things I like, and I’m looking forward to it.
